Dr. Kristen Zale

Psychotherapist, Professor, Sexual Trauma Researcher, Keynote Speaker

Dr. Kristen Zale is an author, psychotherapist, researcher, and professor of clinical social work at the University of Southern California.  She also serves as the Director of Forensic Mental Health at the USC Keck Human Rights Clinic and on the advisory board for the Center of Law and Military Policy, where she chairs the Military Sexual Trauma division. 

As an Axe & Arrow Consulting Partner, Dr. Zale provides discussion and guidance to clients in her areas of expertise in trauma and PTSD, military and civilian sexual assault, as well as attachment theory and interpersonal neurobiology.

​Dr. Zale holds a Ph.D. In Clinical Social Work and Psychotherapy from The Sanville Institute, a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, and a BA in Psychology and Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
