IN-PERSON  |  3 HOURS ​

This three-hour workshop focus on building the foundation of trust that unlock the potential of future performance.  Based on the science of building high performing teams, participants will explore the values and motivations that drive their behavior. 

​During this session, participants will:
  • Explore personal values and their impact on resilience and workplace relationships
  • Understand the trust equation and discuss what makes and breaks trust in the workplace​
  • Develop a common language around the motivational styles that lead to positive team dynamics during collaboration​​​

MODULE ONE

The Trust Equation:
Kick-Off with Values Poker, a game that allow participants to share stories about their personal values and how they use them in the workplace.  Discuss how behaviors build values, can make and break trust.  Explore the importance of trust in building high-performing teams and achieving ambitious goals.  Review David Maister's Trust Equation and think about how small behaviors contribute to gaining or losing trust.  Think about what changes you will have to make in order to gain trust with the people that matter most to your work.

MODULE TWO

Your Impact on Others:
Raise participant self-awareness with the introduction of Elias Porter's Motivational Styles exploring relationship awareness theory. Use the assessment tool to discover how natural instincts may help or hinder your relationships at work.  There is time set aside for personal reflection and a ‘walk and talk’ with one other member of the group.  End this session with a poster that outlines individual strengths and how to bring them out in the team environment.
