Elevating Impact for L'Oréal's Future-Ready Facilitators

L'Oréal recognizes a critical opportunity to amplify the impact of its internal learning initiatives, particularly for the vital Inclusive Leadership content. With a cohort of 18 facilitators – a mix of dedicated DEI specialists and business leaders with strategic "stretch assignments" – the goal is to transform training delivery from knowledge transfer to powerful, action-oriented engagement.

Your organization understands that in today's dynamic environment, passive listening is no longer enough. There's a clear need to move beyond current challenges, where valuable content sometimes struggles to translate into lasting application or fails to excite audiences enough to galvanize action. L'Oréal is committed to fostering a culture where every learning session is a strategic force, building on the insights from top-tier speakers on audience engagement and preparing facilitators for their role as "future-ready" leaders.

To address these presenting needs, the Facilitation Bootcamp is designed to achieve three core objectives, empowering your team to become strategic business advisors who drive influence and measurable change:

Core objectives:

1

Cultivate Strategic Influence: Equip facilitators to galvanize people into action, moving beyond mere content delivery to strategically influence behavior and foster a deeper commitment to key organizational messages, such as Inclusive Leadership.

2

Master Compelling Content Delivery: Empower facilitators to present critical and often complex topics (like Unconscious Bias) in a way that is not just clear, but profoundly engaging and impactful, ensuring messages resonate with diverse, cross-generational audiences.

3

Drive Measurable Behavioral Change: Transform training investments into tangible results by ensuring every session leads to lasting application of new habits and skills, demonstrating a clear return on L&D investment and fulfilling L'Oréal's commitment to continuous improvement.

Introduction to Facilitation Bootcamp:

Many new facilitators struggle to deliver workshops that truly inspire behavioral change, leaving participants with temporary knowledge rather than lasting application. We understand the frustration of seeing valuable content fail to translate into new workplace habits and tangible results. This Facilitation Bootcamp is your indispensable guide to mastering the science and art of transformational learning.

Over five impactful modules, your team will master the four disciplines—Credibility, Navigation, Connection, and Energy—learning how to activate deep engagement, cultivate influence, and motivate permanent application. Invest in your facilitators today to ensure every workshop becomes a powerful catalyst for change and a clear return on your training investment. The alternative is a continued cycle of costly, low-impact sessions that reinforce the status quo instead of driving the future.

This program is for your organization if you want to:
  1. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement where every learning session sparks innovation and growth.
  2. Transform your training investments into measurable gains by empowering your facilitators to drive lasting behavioral change and strategically influence your audience.
  3. Build a future where your team is not only skilled but also inspired to embrace new challenges and new content with confidence and enthusiasm.

Ingrid and her team have been amazing to work with.  They are experts and great partners in developing leadership training for our team.  I lost count as to how many participants have said the training they delivered was the best they have ever taken.  My organization identified a need to build strong leaders.  We worked with Ingrid to develop a Compelling Leader program to address areas such as influencing, compelling conversations, and executive presence, but she brought additional areas to consider which were very complimentary to the original format.  Despite participants having to get out of their comfort zone, they were completely engaged, embraced the learnings, and had fun during the training.  I have nothing but high regards for Ingrid and her team!

Flexible Program Modalities & Schedule Options

To best accommodate your team's needs, budget, and time constraints, we offer three tailored delivery approaches. All options emphasize active practice, robust feedback, and leveraging internal support (like Onaney's coaching role) to ensure maximum impact for all 18 participants.
Option 1: Fully Virtual, Spaced Learning
  • Structure: Five modules, each comprised of a 90-minute core content session followed by a 90-minute live coaching, practice, and feedback session. These are delivered weekly over 5-8 weeks (flexible scheduling).
  • Live Engagement: Approximately 15 hours of live virtual instruction, coaching, and peer/facilitator feedback.
  • Learning Approach: Each module's core concepts are immediately applied in a dedicated live practice session, where participants receive targeted feedback. This is augmented by asynchronous practice and ongoing support from the internal coach (Onaney), reinforcing learning between modules.
  • Key Benefits: Maximum flexibility for busy schedules, reduced travel costs, and consistent learning cadence. This option leverages structured live coaching for individualized refinement and immediate application.
  • Timing Example: Two 90-minute blocks per module, e.g., 9:00 - 10:30 AM PT (Core Content) and 10:45 AM - 12:15 PM PT (Coaching/Practice/Feedback).

Option 2: Blended Learning – Virtual Core with In-Person Capstone
  • Structure: Four modules, each comprised of a 90-minute core content session followed by a 90-minute live coaching, practice, and feedback session, delivered weekly over 4 weeks. This culminates in a one-day (approx. 6 hours) in-person Module 5: Energy & Live Session Exam at your September 15-17 offsite.
  • Live Engagement: Approximately 18 hours total (12 hours virtual + 6 hours in-person).
  • Learning Approach: Virtual modules build foundational skills with integrated live practice and feedback. The in-person capstone allows for intensive, immersive live practice, immediate feedback on physical presence and dynamic engagement, culminating in a powerful live session exam experience. The internal coach (Onaney) provides vital support throughout.
  • Key Benefits: Combines the flexibility of virtual learning with the profound impact of face-to-face interaction for skill refinement, especially for body language, stage presence, and dynamic engagement. Leverages your existing offsite for maximum convenience and synergy.
  • Timing Example: Virtual modules weekly; In-person day on Sept 15th (or agreed date).

Option 3: Blended Intensive – Virtual Check-in with Deep Dive In-Person
  • Structure: One initial 90-minute virtual Module 1: The Change core content session, followed by a 90-minute live coaching, practice, and feedback session. This is then followed by an intensive 1.5-day (approx. 9 hours) in-person experience at your September 15-17 offsite for Modules 2-5.
  • Live Engagement: Approximately 12 hours total (3 hours virtual + 9 hours in-person).
  • Learning Approach: The initial virtual session (with companion coaching) sets the stage. The extended in-person format allows for deeper dives into Credibility, Connection, Navigation, and Energy, with significant hands-on practice, immediate live feedback, and personalized coaching in a highly immersive environment. Participants can workshop their content and skills in real-time, greatly supported by the internal coach (Onaney).
  • Key Benefits: The "moonshot" option for maximizing in-person impact. This accelerated format creates a powerful, transformative experience, capitalizing on the collective energy and focus of an in-person setting. Ideal for rapidly building confidence and refining practical skills.
  • Timing Example: Virtual Module 1; In-person 1.5 days on Sept 15-16th (or agreed dates).

Detailed Module Breakdown (Applicable to all options, adjusted for delivery modality):

(Note: Participants are expected to arrive with existing content (e.g., Inclusive Leadership materials) ready for application and refinement from Day 1.  The internal coach (Onaney) will play a crucial role in supporting practice and feedback for the larger cohort.)

"I am an experienced facilitator and going into the session I had a serious case of 'what am I going to learn?' What actually happened was one of the most powerful formal learning experiences since I was in graduate school. During the week with Ingrid, I was challenged, my strongly held beliefs were opened to examination and reflection, and I felt there was a real chance of failure due to the level of challenge. By the end of the week, I was a stronger facilitator and proved to myself and others that there is always room to grow. Thanks Ingrid for pushing me and sticking with me through this journey! I am still applying what I learned.”
